machu picchu maravilla del mundo

I do not know if his fame or expectations but few places have felt the excitement, I felt in this place, Machu is one of the 7 wonders of the world. Talking about the history of Machu Picchu is talking about the versions that have their historians not yet agree.

The modern world gives credit for his discovery to the American Hiram Bingham, who came here looking obsessively city of Vilcabamba, a lost Inca city, followed by some local made it in 1911. But there is evidence that before he had already been people who had seen the place, even maps that were tracking Machu Pichu before 1911, the real credit is given to Hiram Bingham is that really boost scientific research of this place, because I got support dela National Geographic.

There are reports that this place was the palace of the ninth Inca Pachacutec, others say the build someone else or it was a city of passage connecting the Cusco jungle. Yet the place is awesome, there are many mysteries surrounding Machu Picchu and that is what makes it special. The citadel of Machu Picchu is believed to have been inhabited by about 500 people at its peak, tour the ruins it is to discover the impressive Inca engineering. Build a city in this place and at this point was not an easy task even when the quarry was located on the site. Ingenious drainage systems that work even help the rainwater does not cause landslides. In the citadel, there are several important temples, tombs and the famous Intihuatana, which is a stone alienated sun helping to predict the solstices.

Another striking place is the Sungate or “Intipunku” which is the entrance to the Inca Trail to Machu Picchu, view from here is spectacular. There is also the bridge of the Inca, the Incas had a very complex system and quite elaborate paths of many kilometers, in fact established that this was one reason why the Spaniards could conquer them, because they were perfectly marked trails coming all your cities. For this part, you can see very narrow roads that are on the verge of towering cliffs that cause you incredible vertigo.

And so it is as well as Machu Picchu is the name of wonder of the world.
